Intentional Portraiture Rooted in Connection & Creativity
Images may be easy to make these days (hello AI) —but real connection, trust, and intention can’t be replicated by an algorithm.
That’s what I bring to every portrait session. I believe the experience behind them matters more than ever. My work is grounded in empathy, care, and collaboration—because meaningful portraits aren’t just about how you look, but how you feel during the creative process is what makes a portrait truly meaningful.
I offer portrait sessions that honour women’s strength, stories, and individuality. Whether you arrive with a vision or just curiosity, I’ll guide you through a personalized, easeful process designed to build confidence and connection—often transformative in unexpected ways.
Creativity is my medium, but empowerment guides my work. I prioritize integrity, intention, and joy in every aspect—from how I engage with clients to the brands I partner with. I collaborate with those who share a commitment to sustainability, ethical practice, and creating beauty with purpose.
This isn’t just about photos—it’s about creating space to be seen, supported, and celebrated.

With 15 years of experience behind the lens, I have gotten the opportunity to document some pretty inspirational people and places. Navigating diverse and dynamic settings, I have developed the technical skills to tackle any situation that I may come across.

I have studied formally at the Emily Carr University of Art & Design & the University of British Columbia earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts & Masters of Education. Studying painting, drawing, photography, and art history has provided me with valuable knowledge when it comes to elements of design and posing.
I continuously pursue education through various mentorships, workshops and creative shoots to perfect new skills and expand my knowledge.

My sessions are intentional & relaxed. I mindfully hold space for my subjects and create a supportive, uplifting & nurturing experience. No matter what type of session I am shooting, my subjects leave feeling empowered, honoured & celebrated.
As a highly emphatic individual, I am aware of the varying needs of my subject(s) and am able to adjust my approach helping them feel comfortable. This combined with my inter-disciplinary background in the fine arts helps me to create strong compositions and artistic images.

My work carries an artistic yet minimalistic feel. While I do pose my subjects, my images often take on a photojournalistic quality documenting authentic and natural moments. My editing style embraces the moodiness of the west coast while maintaining colours for timeless images.
As a photographer I believe I have the responsibility to authentically show beautifully diverse bodies. When editing, I do not engage in extensive body manipulation. My philosophy is, if it would leave your body in a few weeks to months (like acne, tired eyes etc.) I will edit it out. However, my work is trauma informed and I connect with each of my clients to discuss editing scope and any sensitivities.
